Day 1: Missionary Kit (Christmas Box)
Missionary Box is a brand new company, created by moms of missionaries who want to help other missionary moms. Throughout the year we will have fun packages full of helpful things for the elders and sisters that are currently serving. And for our email subscribers we will have free printables to help moms and missionaries throughout the whole process of the mission, from the call to coming home. Our goal is to use our experiences to provide ideas, printables, and products that will help moms to prepare and support their missionaries.
We are giving away one of our first products with you here! It is a Christmas box that will get shipped straight to your missionary. In it you will find these incredible products. All of them are light, small, and easy to transport from area to area. They are also unique and extremely useful in a variety of missionary experiences. Included is:
• A tin full of professionally illustrated teaching visuals, including the Plan of Salvation • A Christmas ornament with their name and mission etched on it • Fun CTR dinosaurs they can share with kids in the ward/branch • Unique, modern notecards to leave notes for those they teach • A Christmas Advent, sharing a different name of Christ for each day in December • And, since every missionary package should have a little sugar in it, we threw in a handful of Christmas caramels as well!
Day 2: Ponder Simply (General Conference Study Journal)
Ponder Simply is a general conference compilation journal created by Makell. They were thoughtfully created with the desire to help busy moms like her read and study General Conference after the weekend is over. As a mom with young kids, she understands that many conferences we can't focus all of our attention on the talks like we used to be able to before having kids. It wasn’t until she shifted her focus on helping her kids have a good conference experience, that she realized conference weekend could be more about finding connection as a family and less about activities and games to keep the kids busy so she could listen. This might mean that she misses a talk or two (or even an entire session), but the talks will always be there afterwards, and her books are the perfect way to catch up!
Day 3: Missionary Fitness Co (Fitness Guide)
Missionary Fitness Co provides fitness guides designed specifically for missionaries to keep them healthy while serving the Lord. Each guide provides 6 months of programmed workouts, illustrations to show each exercise, and an easy-to-use layout. Exercise and movement is so important, not only for physical health, but for mental and emotional health as well. Each missionary is given 30 minutes to work out in the morning and each of these workouts can be completed in that time with no equipment needed.
Day 4: Shammy Shic Design (1 temple journal of your choice available designs)
@shammy.shic.design is an Etsy shop run by Emily Shamsabadi. She sells journals and blank greeting cards, embossed with her own digital designs of LDS temples in the US and around the world. She has over 110 temples to choose from, with more temples being added each month. Day 5: BOM Socks (3 pairs of socks)
