2 Nephi 31:20 reads
Wherefore, ye must press forward with a steadfastness in Christ, having a perfect brightness of hope, and a love of God and of all men. Wherefore, if ye shall press forward, feasting upon the word of Christ, and endure to the end, behold, thus saith the Father: Ye shall have eternal life.
As I was thinking about what the pioneers went through to pave the way for our Church and its members today, this verse came to mind! While I’m fairly certain we won’t have to pull a hand cart for thousands of miles in extreme heat and extreme cold to find religious freedom and the chosen land, we will all have storms to weather through. If we press forward with a steadfastness in Christ; keep a perfect brightness of hope; feast upon the words of Christ; and have a love for God and all men, we can weather ANY storm because we are blessed with divine guidance.
